3:45 pm Mythos
MythosGuru.com today posted an interview conducted between them and Max Schaefer, COO of Flagship Studios (FSS), where they discussed many of the new features and direction of FSS’s second game, Mythos.
Much talk, in the interview, is made about the non-necessary but game play (time) extending features such as houses, pets, mounts, end-game goals and yes even WoW like raiding content. Large amount of such features in all, here’s to hope the Mythos Team can deliver, as the mention of player houses alone dredge up memories of such a promised feature for Hellgate: London in the early days.
Interesting questions in the interview exist such as inquiries about the advertising campaign for Mythos compared to Hellgate. Dodged questions include a direct one about region locking (dis)allowing everyone to play on North American servers. Answer, “We’ll work with our partners to develop the best policy for everyone. No final decisions on that have been made yet, but we want to give our partners every opportunity to use their expertise in creating a large community.” In other words, region-locking for greater bling, bling is still the utmost of importance.

For further evidence, look at all the unfilled positions offered on their site. Also, Mythos sounds like everything else; another D2/ WOW hybrid (but that looks more like Dungeon Runnners). |
